The Full Story

Co-Creators

What began as neighbors quickly grew into a friendship- and eventually a shared vision. As East Texas locals, we felt called to bring the magic of retreat life closer to home, creating space to rest, connection and renewel right here in our community.

Amy Braswell

Hi, I’m Amy. Yoga has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching my mom teach out of our home, never realizing how deeply those early experiences would shape me later in life.

Like many of us, my practice came and went through adulthood, but over the past 2.5 years it has become a consistent part of my world. Yoga is my time to breathe, move, and return to myself. It’s where I set intentions that follow me off the mat and give myself permission to slow down and reconnect my mind and body.

Last year, I had the chance to attend an international yoga retreat—an experience that left a lasting imprint. The rest, the shared moments, and the feeling of genuine human connection reminded me of something so simple and powerful: you shouldn’t have to travel far to feel deeply restored.

That realization turned into a quiet idea, then a conversation with my neighbor—now one of my closest friends—and eventually into something we’re incredibly proud of. Together, we’re hosting our very first yoga retreat right here in East Texas, creating a space for connection, reflection, and reset in our own backyard.

I’m so grateful to be here, sharing this journey with you. 🤍

Teagan Olsen

I’m Teagan—an entrepreneur at heart who found her way back to yoga after a season of deep caregiving. Over the past two years, I have poured my energy into caring for my youngest daughter battling cancer, and also trying to be present and available for my other children and husband, putting my own health on hold.

2025 I hit burn out and knew I could no longer keep pouring from an empty cup. Amy quickly took me under her wing as a friend and workout partner, holding me accountable to those early morning yoga classes.

Yoga became a space for me to breathe again, rebuild my mental strength, and reconnect with myself. This retreat is an invitation to do the same—to slow down, restore, and remember that your well-being matters too.
